If you want to sing One Direction on the motorway just turn it up a bit and save yourself the money hehe
My secret shame is out hehe

Luckily my driving is all around town - and as this is Bristol that means mostly about 5mph - so luckily road noise isn't a huge issue for me!

And as my commute is the only time I get 5 mins of peace I actually don't mind spending a few quid for an appreciable difference. The dinky little alpine sub at £90 is sorely tempting I won't lie. I did find when I first put an aftermarket HU in all those years ago that I had to almost turn bass off completely to get a nice sound out of the speakers. A sub in the back (that isn't too lairy, as Alex puts it!) might be the answer. And at that price it's not much of a gamble at least!

Just had everything fitted yesterday and to say I'm thrilled with it would be an understatement. Absolutely loving it. The difference in sound quality from having that little sub is beyond measure.
