Sony cd player randomly died
Discussion
I have a sony BT unit in my mk4 golf connected up to a jl audio subwoofer & amp. I went to work the other morning and it was working fine no issues but when i finished and started it up the unit didnt come on and still hasnt.
I have checked the fuse behind the deck, its fine and checked the 25amp fuse which is also good. What could the issue be if not the fuses? Its all so random.

Although this is an old post, I am posting the below for reference should someone else have the same problem.
There will usually be three fuses for the radio.
One on the radio itself,
one in the always on power supply from the car fuse box,
and one in the switched power supply from the car fuse box.
Check that you are getting power to both 12V feeds (ignition on) using a multimeter set to volts, or.
Have a play with everything electrical in the car and see if you can find something else not working, start with the 12V socket, interior lights etc. If you find something then check that fuse as well as it maybe powering one of the 12V connections to the radio.
