Discovery 1 head unit

Has anyone on here replaced the standard head unit on a discovery 1? I bought one and the head unit was missing.

I've done the usual google search but no one just says "yes this head unit fits without any special mods"

Any and all advice welcomed.

It's a pretty straight forward change, does your car have steering wheel control? If it doesn't then the only thing you need to decide is what you want from your stereo.
