Evening.

I've had a few jobs lined up to do on our NC (mk3) MX5 including a Parrot kit and have finally got round to ordering and fitting everything. Our car has got the Bose stereo so needed a different SOT lead to a normal MX5 so I looked about and connects2 make one, and I emailed them directly to confirm the correct fitment. Unfortunately they don't sell direct to public so I ordered through a car audio website and received what appeared to be the correct lead in a sealed bag. I was quiet in work this afternoon so had a go at fitting it and the lead seems to be wrong. I tried the stereo end and the amp end and neither end match the plugs on the SOT lead. I was told to order a CT10MZ04, and even when I rang the place I ordered it from their system lists it as the right part. They are fine with me sending it back but I still need to figure out how to get it done. I could start chopping wires about but I'd rather it if I can do a plug and play installation.

I don't suppose any of you guys are an owner of an MX5 bose and have installed one, or even better are an installer and have fitted loads and can point me to a hidden plug somewhere that I couldn't find. A picture/number of the correct lead would be awesome so I can try and source one.

I took some pics of the plugs but they're on my phone so I'll add another reply with them in.

Thanks in anticipation of a MX5 Parrot kit Guru answering my plee.
