How to fit stereo to corsa 09 plate

Just a quick question. Ive bought a kenwood stereo to fit in my vauxhall corsa (2009), with all the correct adaptors but there seems to be no where to connect the ignition wire to(12v). Ive done some research and found that it can be tapped into the 12v from the cigarette light. However this seems to be a bit of a nuesence. I was wondering whether i can tap the ignition wire into the existing yellow wire which is the battery power i think. Thank you for any help.

The stereo will want two lives, a permanent live and a switched live which comes on only when the ignition is in accessory or run position.

Run a wire from the fusebox

Use a piggy back fuse - you can get them from Halfords and plug into an empty fuse socket in the main fuse box. dead easy way of doing it.....
