Tracker -v- TomTom fleet tracking systems - Which is best?
Discussion
Does anyone have any experience of either the Tracker or the TomTom fleet tracking systems?
I'm looking to install one of these in my new car for tracking and managing business travel, and I'd like to hear any advice or feedback on these two systems from those who have experience of them.
In particular, I'm interested in the quality & ease of use of the tracking info and reports that can be generated in the software that is part of the tracking system.
The TomTom system appeals more, as it is cheaper, can be done via a self install, and can also be moved to a new vehicle, whereas the Tracker system is hard wired to one specific vehicle.
Any advice and help is greatly appreciated.

I run tom-tom Webfleet and have done for 6 years now.
Its installed in all 14 of my company vehicles and all my engineers time sheets are completed automatically because of the reports.
Had a van written off when one of my guys drove in to a lamp post at 53mph. he went 0-53mph in 0.4seconds and pulled 5.3g. The software can also pick up if the vehicles are on a flat bed truck and being moved, if the vehicle is sat with the ignition on.
All in all very good and if you want to know any more just ask.
