Hi all looking at doing a euro trip this year with some friends can anyone recommend some 2 way radios that will
Work on the move I have some Cheep walkiie talkies at the moment they are ok if we are in a traffic que but stop working when we get any speed up

Not the cheapest, but Intek MT-5050 offers quite a bit for the money. Doesn't look like much, but is a capable little unit. Used a set of these for a group trip to Germany last year and they were faultless.

Not saying that you would, but searching for "intek mt-5050 modification" would show you how to easily get them to reach over a mile in built-up areas.

Get some US spec Motorola MR 350 off eBay.

I've also got the latest Binatone Terrain 750 euro spec.

Both for the same reasons as yours.

That is what I thought.

I have some EU spec Motorola ones, they are probably about 15 years old now, I've found them to be great.

They don't clash with anything. Used for years, no issue.
