Will an EU car stereo work in the UK?

I live in Great Britain where the Blaupunkt Bremen SQR46 DAB costs £400. Next week I'm flying to Italy where it costs only £320. If I will buy it there and bring it back here, will it work?

I dont know the answer 100% but i think it will work the same as when i go into EU my UK stereo works the same.

BTW going to do the same but when i go to Germany so would like to know

It will but make sure it has DAB. Not everywhere in Europe does it and some local market headunits won’t have it.

Blaupunkt finally replied to my email confirming that their EU radios will work in Great Britain too.

Doesnt seem worth the hassle, once you factor in import duty payable when you bring it to uk.
