Hi all can anyone who has the newer garmins tell me whether the routing still takes you down iffy country narrow lanes. Love my Nuvi 210 but not my life in those lanes. Bought a navigon2100 because i had been told as well as fatest/shortest it has optimun and never takes you down these lanes .That is true the routing is great ,but too many other things i dont like (too many to go into)

Carlovers,

interested in hearing about your problems with the Navigon. I was looking at the new 7210(?) from their range. Are the problems you have been having likely to be common across the whole range or do you think they are very specific to the model you have?

Hi emmdat, these are the issues .Believe it or not navigon thinks its illegal to have MOBILE speed camera positions installed. You cant input anyone elses database either. You cant put street numbers in.When you input a postcode and press go garmin will give you the street your going to navigon wont. Finally if you make a wrong turning garmins recalc. is almost instant navigons takes ages .I believe this is inherant in all the range i have a 2100max.Tried the new garmin765T in halfords yesterday ,love the way its so easy to use but again the routing is still silly.
