Just bought one of these and cant find a setting that allows me to have an audible warning when approaching speed/safety cameras.
I get a visual warning which is ok but would prefer an audible warning.
Ive been through all the preferences and looked on the site and support sections but cant find anything.
anyone know if its possible and if so how to do it, preferably step by step.
Cheers.

I don't think you can.
You can download a file of fixed camera locations and set the safety preference for "warn me when driving faster than allowed", then set your desired warning sound. If it goes off your eyes are drawn to the display and you'll notice the symbol for any close cameras.

I dont know if the classic ones are able to use this, but the latest bit of TomTom interference with how you want to use their software installs a folder called Sounds which you can view through Explorer.

Either that or use the pocketgpsworld database and some of their aftermarket voices

Ok ive sussed it out. You can have audible warnings.
You go to tomtom services in the menu, and touch safety cameras and everything is in there.
Hey presto im up and running.
