Has anyone tried this Sat Nav, I have had one for a number of years and it has some really good features, route optimising for instance, just enter a destination, then the remainder of the call points press optimise and your route is sorted, go to info, select display on screen and there is your route (small but you can check for stupid mistakes)

AS per usual Mio are about as user unfriendly as the rest of the manufacturers seem to be, difficult to contact and when you do manage to send an e-mail you get a reply to something you didn't ask. And phone lines are set to premium rates!

But for all that this navigator is about one of the best I have seen, I would be happy to hear about any others that people consider worthy of a look. It has the usual supply of useless (to me) facilities like photos and MP3 player, for god's sake have they not heard of an iPod.

Having said all this, don't trust a navigator 100% because you are asking for more interesting trips than you might prefer to undertake, as a courier I do travel a lot but have the bonus of a driver which leaves me free to keep an eye on just where we are going, this is where the POI system comes into it's own, if you have been to a place you can make it a 'Point of Interest' then select that location as somewhere to go next time. A word of warning though, rarely, but it happens, a POI moves and is not where you expected it to be, an amusing by product of sat nav use.

Never trust Post Codes, it's not unknown to finish up at a post office, where the PO Box is!

Finally may I request that a comparison chart be set up to allow people like me who are considering a change of sat nav to compare features, manufactures don't tell you what it doesn't have so comparison can be difficult, take optimising routes for instance.
