ITN works on all the TomToms EXCEPT the small screen TomTom ONE.

So you get this function on:

ONE XL UK
ONE XL Europe
Go 500 +
Go 700 +
Go 900 +

For a SatNav, i've been very pleased with it, and have done complex itinerary routes here and in France (in fact i'm just planning a great route from Boulogne to Le Mans for this year's race. I don't remember how much it cost, but IIRC it was in the £125 to £150 range. The speed camera alerts are helpful, but not the best i've used.

+1 for the TomTom XL europe, very happy with mine...the itinery planning is very easy to use

It's not a problem on the XL, that's what I've replaced it with. As said above it's only the One v4 and One v4 that have problems.

Sorry, mis-interpeted what you said, I thought I was knackered when I uploaded 8.X, and then read your post, I read it as TYRE and itinerary, would not work with 8.x, not the later tom tom device itself.
