tomtom 700 map help required

right ive buggerd my go700 up today

tried to update my map as its old, and completely fluffed everything up.

so....i wiped my unit clean and updated from the tomtom home and so have the latest operating system etc, but no maps whasoever ! damn.

how can i install maps for free ?

Have you tried to restore it from the backup that TTHome asked you to make before you tried to install new maps?

You can also install the newest firmware on it.

Register on the forum (if you haven't already) and post a message. Demonfatal is usually quite quick to answer (a few hours normally). I can't help I'm afraid as mine is on my HTC Universal, so the procedure is different I think.

done it late last night ! ye ha.

i managed to get all of europe onto it and usa and canada! well happy

and ive also updated the operating system on my tomtom

it wont work from tomtom home, but works fine when using the satnav on its own!
