Help Required Please

I have been looking at a website with a view of purchasing a Garmin Nuvi sat nav, the site states the following- "Vehicles with UV Reflect windscreens will need an additional antenna". I drive a 2001 BMW 320 (E46). Has anyone had any experience and could offer some advice?

Any help would be very much appreciated.

I have a car with a UV reflect windscreen - my TomTom works perfectly well with it and I have had no issue. The traffic reciever is a bit hit and miss. My GPS detector does not work - I purchased a seperate ariel and have routed it into the parcelshelf and it works fine.

I would imagine if your Garmin does not work, then all you need to do is buy a seperate ariel - which is inexpensive I believe...
