Where can i download Europe map for tomtom one

Im going to spain for a week in June and want a map for my tomtom one classic as i am hiring a car there.
Just looked on the tomtom website and its £60 for a europe map.
To me this is far too much as i dont envisage using it again in the near future.
Is there anywhere i can download an alternative more cheaply or is it worthwhile just hiring a satnav when i get there?

Find out if the hire company have sat-navs fitted to the cars, or if they have an optional extra sat-nav.

Otherwise you're going to have to buy one.

Wouldn't surprise me if hiring a unit for a week costs almost as much as buying the map.

Alternatively, ISTR you can get a cheap and cheerful Euro navigator from eBuyer for next to nothing - or try eBay for a 2nd hand Garmin i3, they usually sell for under 30 quid and come with Euro mapping.

I've seen the tomtom euro maps on ebay for around £25, expect they've been copied from somewhere rather than original tomtom one's

also worth a note that the classic does not have expandable memory so you may or may not be able to squeeze another country on without first deleting the UK, may be a non starter this I'm afraid
