Looking at purchasing one of these, may well go for the 700 as its a matt finish and would look better in-dash, plus I would not really use the DVD playback.
Anyone got any experiences with the AVICs they would like to share?
Thanks

I've got a 900, and TBH, wouldn't buy another. I wanted something that did everything in one box, which this does, but nothing particularly well. As said elsewhere on this forum, there's no hard copy of the manual which, on something with this many features, would be nice to chuck in the glove box. It takes forever to boot up, sometimes it refuses to shut down, so you have to switch ignition off/on/off, open/close doors etc (guess this could be down to the installation?), the sat nav isn't very intuitive, and often drops reception in places where my old TomTom was fine, and it doesn't recognise my Gen 5 iPod or G3 iPhone as mp3 players.
On the plus side....the BlueTooth works quite well. I'm in the market for another system for my latest motor, but will revert to a TomTom (730 any good?)and decent iPod compatible head unit.
