Bought this unit yesterday, installed the latest map database and then signed up for the safety camera locations free trial with cyclops. I have tried to do an offline route past two known "safety camera" location. Neither are showing up on the route when passing. Does the warning only come up on real time journeys or are my camera locations not installed? I have checked in the system menu and it says UK safety camera POI installed 13 June. Any help appreciated

Not sure if "off-line/demo" uses POIs.

What do you mean by "known" locations??

Locally I have see camera vans and my monthly down-load has never indicated these locations ??

I suppose it depends on "known" locations being passed back to the database owner ??

Have you tried using it for "real" past a speed camera ??

My Garmin shows cameras in simulation mode. Never been a fan of Garmin's camera database, lots of errors in it. The only plus point it does have is that it is direction sensitive.
