I got the SatNav module for my Nokia N95 and its beyond crap! If I type in the full address of House Number, Street and Full Postcode....8/10 times I end up no where near. In a city it seems to work fine, but the other week I had to go to Cambs keyed in all the necessary and when it said "You have reaced your detination" I was down a lane in the middle of F***ing nowhere.

Now, I don't bother and use my old shool road map and some common sense, seems to be more reliable.

Does anyone else have a similar issue with SatNav on these / any suggestions to make it at least remotely useful? or should I just give up?

Thanks

I use Vodafone Find and Go which worked brilliantly on both my N95 and now my C905. Are you using the Nokia Satnav or something else. I hear the Nokia one is indeed crap.

Yes..I got the mapping / directions (errmmm, I mean mis-directions) free with the deal then I just had to pay £40 for the voice module for a 3 year period..which at the time (2007) I though was great as all in one device.

I have done downloads for the N95s internal software and mapping updates too, none of which make any difference, its total toss tbh.
