Cyprus map for Tom Tom?

Anyone know if Tom Tom are going to produce one soon. Last time I was on holiday there you could get a Satnav for the hire car but it was Garmin I think.

That's interesting - I didn't take my Garmin with me last October as I knew the Europe map didn't include Cyprus. Still doesn't I believe. My friend that lives there said there's basically no satnav maps of Cyprus, and sure enough I didn't see a single car with one. Guess the locals know their way around, it's not that big a place.

So I had a quick look into it, it seems that since then the local Garmin authorised distributor has seen a biz opportunity and has commissioned a local company (TC Geomatic) to produce maps, which are included on locally sold Garmin units. Dunno if there's any way of getting those maps onto a TomTom.
