Mine didn't the last time I was over there, but that was about 3 years ago, so the software has probably been updated since. It would be a very useful feature helping to put your mind at rest that you are actually staying legal, rather than just thinking that you're staying legal.

Have just travelled through Germany on route to Slovakia ,with my Tom Tom IQ ,it does indicate speed limits where applicable and remains blank where the road is de restricted .Hope that helps

TomTom IQ stays blank when it doesnt know the limit so it cant be trusted I'm afraid. On my drive to work in the UK about half the roads just show blank , mixture of 30, 40 and NSL roads.
