Chaps

Page 30 of the Times today has an advert for (up to) 50% off sat nav systems.

Which would you recomend from:

Navman M350 deluxe £80
Navman M540 deluxe £100
Navigon 4310 Max Plus £140
Navman S505 deluxe £150
Garmin nuvi 205w £100
TomTom One IQ uk and Ire £130
TomTom XL IQ uk and Ire £150
Garmin nuvi 265WT £170

Opinions welcome

thanks

Pete

The problem with the 'up to 50% off' is that the prices used are probably from when the products were brand new. The current prices (before discount) are probably only 10% or so higher than what you'll end up getting them for.

Hmm, fair enough. I'll alter my qustion.

Which of the following sat nav's would you recomed? As I require widescreen and traffic update rerouting I have narrowed it down to:

Navigon 4310 £140
Navman S505 £150
TomTOm XL IQ £150
Garmin nuvi 265wt £170

thanks

Am going to go for the Navigon as it has European mapping included and I have read that it has superior rerouting and less clunky graphics compared to the TomTom.

Will post back how I get on.

My Navigon (2110 so admittedly a year or so old now) picks some stupid routes, really stupid. It's now in my wife's car for emergencies only and I've bought a Tomtom!!
