I was brought back in and am still being prompted to carry on posting.Yes I did get the stopping distance wrong, what has that to do with it?
MY argument is over two seconds being enough.
Whatever the stopping distance was you still said to follow at that distance was wrong, in spite of what HC said.

You come in saying you need a gap of x with the stopping distance being y. You then find out it's 1/2y and still maintain a gap of x. What does that have to do with it? Well, it shows that (i) you're not really in a position to throw stones on the subject and (ii) the gap you've suggested isn't based upon physics but something more akin to religion.25NAD90TUL said:

PS: I noticed a complete lack of any posting in any AD threads, this one being the exception. You didn't answer my query about your most recent AD test either.
Have a look at my post on the E39 thread, It'll more than likely be I'm right...and it isn't even nasty!
