Will do , but if i'm coming up to say a round about i'll take my foot off the gas but i'm still going to have to brake because the cars constantly pulling,
If it's still pulling with your foot off the throttle then you have a pretty dangerous fault.
I'm with Mr2M. What makes you think the car is pulling? What it should be doing is slowing down, but perhaps it is slowing down more slowly than you would like.

Also, you imply that having to brake is a problem - why do you think that? Approaching a roundabout, you have to prepare to stop either at the line or at the back of any queue of traffic until and unless you can see for sure that you are going to be able to continue. If you try to achieve that without braking except presumably at the last moment you must be starting to slow inordinately early. That is too high a price to pay for economy. I would prefer to use the brakes - lifting off the gas and allowing the speed to start to decay somewhat before starting to brake, but using the brakes for most of my speed reduction. I would not change down manually either in a manual car or in an automatic car, and since I would still be in my cruising gear in a manual car the amount of engine braking would not be very different.
