Slip road use when motorway blocked

Had this on the M1 from Hemel last night. Two long slip roads divided by hatchings, yet people do all sorts of crazy, dangerous stunts just to join the queue Had one guy undertake on the hard shoulder, then cut across two lanes, over two lots of hatching, to then sit in queuing traffic while I carried on the left hand slip and easily merged further down

If there's an orderly join going on early on the sliproad, perhaps accounting for some heavies in lane one etc, it's going to get people's backs up to squeeze up the inside and nail it up to the end.

If everyone is gently crawling down to the end then zip merging then that's a great solution.

Joining society and copying everyone else can very often mean going over the chevrons in a rush to join the back of the queue or doing all sorts of incorrect things just because the masses who don't know any better do it.

All the way to the end...its never caused me any issues doing that, never been blocked from joining the MWay, always have my indicator on though even though its not really necessary..it seems to give legitimacy to the move.

Not indicating as you join a motorway? Get me Reg Local immediately! ( Always indicate your intentions. It's something to do with letting those around you know what you are going to do.)......
