Hit by Un-insured road user......

Even Advanced Driving couldn't help me this morning!
Doing about 25mph down a single track lane between tall banks / hedges, and a young, small deer peeps out of hedge about 20 yards ahead. Seeing this and remembering Reg's words "Where one goes, others WILL follow" I immediately and firmly brake to a stop. Predicatably, said young deer runs out across road in front, and i have just enough time to think "hey, that was lucky" when Mummy deer leaps out of the hedge immediately opposite my now stationary car, and attempts to vault over it to get to the other side!
On her way across she:
Rips off O/S door mirror
Dents drivers door
Dents O/S front wing
Dents Bonnet
Scratches bumper
Smashes windscreen
Scratches both A pillars
Damages N/S door mirror
She then bounds off into the field on the other side looking very pleased with herself, leaving me fuming!

yeah, just like that^^^^^^^ ;-)
I got out to pick up the bits of my car that were lying in the road (the remains of the door mirror) and i could hear a Tractor working in the field on the other side of the wide hedge. I reckon Bambi and Mum had been resting in the hedge and got startled as the noisy tractor approached, and hence done a runner, and unfortunately i was then between mum and baby, so got a pasting.........
