Hi all,

After a couple of minor bumps (not her fault), my fiancee's driving confidence has been shaken and she's started to get anxious in the car (including when I'm driving). I've told her that I'll organise an advanced driving course for her and had initially thought about Ride Drive, because I'd done a day with them several years ago and thought it was excellent - but they've ceased trading.

Any suggestions/recommendations? We're based in North London.

IAM or RoADA.

Free. Helpful. She's exactly the kind of person they want to help.

A few weeks of steady effort and you'll be amazed and how expert and confident she'll get. IF she wants to do it. Ask her first.

Local advanced IAM/ROSPA driving groups SHOULD be able to do a FREE assessment

Pity you are not near me in Leicester because I would arrange to do this

Yes some IAM RoadSmart groups will offer a free initial assessment but to do the full course costs £149. It's an absolute bargain however and will raise her confidence and skill level considerably. The danger is, she will then be a better drive than you...;)
