Ok, to summarise so far then...

Motorway driving? Should be possible, but I can’t guarantee whether it’ll be busy or not.

I might struggle with congested city conditions, as I’m not really going near any cities and I’m not sure how interesting a video it would make, but I’ll see.

Basic left/right turns and some other simple systematic manoeuvres shouldn’t be a problem. I’ll include some roundabout footage in this.

Getting driving position right? We’ll see.

Escaping from a submerged vehicle? No problem, as long as you lend me your car. wink

Commentary, well, ok, but no ripping the piss out of my cloggy accent!

As for response driving, I’m afraid that this is non-work related. I’m on leave at the moment and I’m going to do a trackday in a couple of weeks. I’m taking a mate who has some decent video equipment, but I’ll be doing some filming away from the track too. Unfortunately, it’ll have to be in the M3 though, although I might be able to do a little filming in the MX-5 too.

Isle of Man? I'm afraid not. Will Wales do?

Anything else?

I'd be interested to see some Motorway driving. I have trouble settling into a consistant style at times.

One point - With driving videos it's often what you can't see that's most important. With advanced driving seeing the drivers head and hands give you so much information. Perhaps this could be covered in commentry, and let the camera focus on the road ahead.

Now, I think the 7's lack of roof is balanced by the reduced leg-and-lower-torso accommodation... biggrin

Thanks, timdriver, for the plug! In response to popular requests, over the weekend I found some time to embed some clips into my website at: http://www.bespokedrivertraining.co.uk/video_clips...

OT but if the video is used to train young drivers, would it be possible for any overtaking to include horse riders and cyclists ?

Just watched those demos again. Just wondered what sort of speeds you were getting up to during the overtakes? I've also watched the demo given by the IAM guy who's vids always seem to appear next to the demos where he mentions during a pass that he hit 70.

Cheers.

Have a read here for my previous post on speed...

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

However, I wouldn't be daft enough to post a video of me committing offences on the internet, so I can safely say that at no point on that video, did I exceed the posted limits (mostly NSL)

If you were in the Llandow area for a track day does that mean the videos will be up soon?

Yes - as soon as I've edited them, I'll post them up, warts and all!

Just out of interest, i don't have a IAM - but im wondering how many of you that are IAM have lgv or hgv entitlement

IF so, id like a video detailing how to reverse a 65 foot wagon and drag, with a 35 ton payload.

Thanks in advance.......

I've been busier than I'd planned to be these last couple of weeks or so and there's been a death in the family, but bear with me - I do have some footage to share and I'll post it when I've a little more spare time.
