I.A.M Trackday 2007?

Does anybody know if the IAM are planning another day like last year at Bedford Autodrome? I missed out and really hope the do another

I think they're planning to do another but I haven't seen any details yet. Last year's was brilliant fun so like you, I hope they're doing a repeat!

Here is the reply I got from the IAM when I asked...

"Thanks for your enquiry, at present we have not been able to reach an agreement with Bedford Autodrome to run another track day. They have made some expensive changes to the venue and require £20,000 to hire the track - that is without instructors or marshals. We can only have about 70 drivers so that you can see that it would become too expensive. We are however in conversation with the senior management to try and build a road safety "alliance" which they may then view as a reason to provide the Track day at a reduced price to a "partner" company.


We will publicise any event if we are able to reach an agreement "

So fingers crossed they manage to get something sorted

I may have to see if I can arrange some kind of alternative as a friend of mine does have close ties with Bedford Autodrome - maybe a PH day
