I passed with only a couple of minor observations after the drive last night smile
I'm 36, drive a lot of miles on business and run a TVR Griffith as a weekend / track car, so probably not what most people would consider the average IAM member going on their current image. What I will say though is that I thoroughly enjoyed it, it taught me a fair amount and has definitely made me safer - I would recommend it to anyone who was interested in in proving their driving.
I enjoyed it so much that I will soon be embarking on further training to become an observer for my local (Telford & Wrekin) group.

Oh, and although I remained quiet, I did pick up some useful tips and advice from here, so thanks to all involved!

Congrats - I had a Griff when I did mine too - in fact I did my test in the Griff. Did you?

Well done...it's a great feeling when you get the call from an Associate you have helped as an Observer!

Thanks for the comments smile

As for the test, I chickened out and took it in my company Astra as it's much easier to drive in traffic. Except last night, the roads were nearly deserted rolleyes Oh well!

You obviously have the enthusiasm to go on improving your driving - so Special Assessment in due course in the TVR?

Too many points on licence, I think.

Best wishes all,
Dave.
