Have been reading the posts here and CptSideways, Reg et al have convinced me that I should stop procrastinating and take some form of advanced driving tuition.

Does anyone know of a skidpan facility in my area (Hemel Hempstead)?

I would strongly suggest giving Don Palmer a call. He uses Bruntingthorpe, which is not far from where you are and he is one of the best limit handling and driving coaches around.

Cool, this is something I've always wanted to do too.

I had a look for my local skidpans and only saw Knockill and a company called "AcciDon't" (groan!) in Helensburgh. I'd like to be able to feel what it's like with my own car, so it has to be a pan where I can do that. Does anyone know much about the two I've mentioned? Any recommendations?
