Some people will never learn.
It is the same for those that remain in the outside lanes unnecessarily. Enjoy your day in court.
How many people (roughly) have you booked for either example of inconsiderate driving?, perhaps if you spent more time booking people for being in lane 3 (when they should keep left) then you would'nt need to book people for undertaking.
Are you not prepared to answer this simple question?.
I have reported 3 as I rememeber, for driving without due care and consideration directly relating to impeading the progress of others, and educated verbally warned many more.
Approximately the same amount as for undertaking.

BiBs responses on here echo the typical ethos of the police today: prosecute those who have become so frustrated , rather than the perpetrater

Not at all.
Do what you are supposed to do (or you make yourself a perpetrator) & let the Police deal with the others.

Not saying they shouldn't be dealt with but blaming others for, or using them to try & detract from your offending won't get you anywhere.

VH and Time2React, can you explain how you distinguish between what you call undertaking, and passing on the left in congested conditions when traffic is moving at similar speeds?

I think I understand what our enforcement representatives are getting at.
As there is "body language", so is there "language" in the use of our vehicles.
Aggresive, not on.
Carefully subtle, ok.
Well, that's what I hope.

Well... with these 'international playboys' masquerading as traffic cops I would not rely on hope at all!

Well you'd be wrong then. Von has already said that however "carefully" makes no difference. The amount of care and attention you actually put into the decision to OVERTAKE on the left is completely irrelevant. It's Driving Without Due Care and Attention. rolleyes The law is the the law as far as he is concerned, despite the fact that it is a purely subjective decision on his part.

Von is really Judge Dredd and ICMFP.

I quote a recent anecdote:
"Were here to save your ass, not kiss it".
I take it that isn't supposed to be in the past tense?
