I have just bought an Exige S and having driven it for few weeks I am convinced that advanced training of some kind is called for. I have had advanced bike training in the past through a service staffed by ex and current police officers which massively increased my confidence and ability on a bike on the road. I would like to do something similar. I have heard a lot about Andy Walsh and while it is a bit of a trek it sounds like it may be the ticket. However, is anyone aware of a similar service in the South East, preferably Kent, Sussex or Surrey. I may do one or two track days next year but primarily I will drive on the road.

Andy Walsh is very good.

IAM/Rospa are good value too - I observe for the IAM in Bromley, and would be happy to take you out in the Exige smile

Andy Walsh and Don Palmer are generally the most recommended for limit handling, but if you are looking for South of London you can consider Bernard Aubry - see recent Track Driving thread.

As mentioned above the IAM is good (I too observe for them, so I would say that)

See my profile and if you think I can help let me know.

Try www.ridedrive.co.uk - I live in your area and RideDrive found an utterly brilliant instructor locally. An ex-police pursuit instructor who was great biggrin

The IAM thing is good and worth doing. However, a professional police instructor would generally be miles better wink

Hope this helps smile
