I don't understand why the HPC Executive don't simply place their cards on the table and let the court of public opinion decide.
Anyway, that's enough from me for this thread. Goodnight.
I just don't see what's so special about any members of a private driving club being involved in a collision or getting stopped for speeding. I wouldn't expect them to come on PH to announce those things had happened. Anyway, that's enough from me for this thread. Goodnight.

Fair point, but these things are not even discussed in any great detail on the [closed] HPC fora.
How on earth are we going to make changes to improve matters if there is this concerted effort to get people to -to coin a phrase already used this evening - STFU.
Putting HPC members on a driving pedestal is just daft if you aren't going to have a proper way of dealing with them if they happen to fall off.
(And now I am off to bed)

STFU.
The problem being is that it can either be talked about on here or it can't. If you *can*, put your pov (nothing wrong with that in my book, I'd be interested in listening to both sides), then do it. If you can't (that's up to what PH allow and what you want to risk), then don't.All the sideswiping and veiled references are no use to anyone.
Sorry ipsg.glf for the STFU ref, not needed.
