I'm planning to do some advanced training with Ridedrive or similar. I did have a tidy 325 BMW that's now died, which would have been fine for the job. As I'm moving soon, it's been replaced with an Audi A6 Avant, 2.4 multitronic (CVT auto). My wife has an Aygo I can drive too.

My question is, which car am I going to get the most out of the day with?

The big, heavy, slowish auto - so I'll lose 90% of the gear-changing stuff (the "6-speed manual mode" isn't great....) - but it is the car I'm driving every day at the moment, probably for the next couple fo years, and has a reasonable amount of power.

The little, slow, I-barely-fit-in-it Aygo, don't drive it often, but will get gear change practise and it is kinda fun in a keeping up the momentum way.

rsv gone!

Audi. I'm sure Ridedrive can teach you to use your autobox more efficiently for making progress.

Have a read about 2/3rds the way down;

Seconded,

London Met are getting well into autos - a good coach will have you enjoying the box...

Fairy nuff smile

That link sounds a little like how the audi is; a bit one way then the other; probably learning best use of the 'box I'll be using most is a good idea anyway!
