I just realised that you have already got the ls in but with a T5, if you want to change to a T56, you will have issues with the bellhousing touching the cross member above the centre console mounting points. I set the engine sump level with the bottom of the chassis rails when I did my install, still had to relief the cross member to increase the clearance. Think rich had to do his also?

Interesting. My sump is lower than the chassisrails. The steel plate which protects the sump had to be lowered with some bushes between the plate and the chassis. So, if your sump is the same, your engine sits higher than mine.. I think that the only way of finding out how it wil fit is buying a box and get to work. Enginemounts are different with almost all conversions. I think that my engine is mounted a bit more forward. The converter choose to let the position of the T5 be. With the orinal brackets. Between engine and bellhousing, there is a adapterplate of aluminium. I think a 10mm plate.

I would not want my sump to be the first point of impact!
I put a box section on the chassis rails and placed the sump on that, before fabricating the engine mounts.

I have the same opinion Paul, but I have to deal with the consequences of the choices that the builder made. A quick search on the net learned that different oil pans can be bought with different hights. Maybe that is something for the future. The car is now in for a new wiringloom for the engine, new kms ecu and different drivebeltsystem on the engine.

Would be good to start "LS3 for the Cerbera" thread

Anybody reading this thread thinking of converting a Tuscan, could get very confused

as the Cerb was a V8 car on a different chassis, and quite a lot of what is posted on here would,nt work on a "LS3 Tuscan"

Both the Top Cats and Dyno Torque cars look fantastic

just leaves you wondering what would have been if TVR had gone back to the American V8,s that built up the company in the 90,s
