I'm struggling to understand why a GM run kit won't run a GM engine, maybe I'm missing something but why not use a kit that was designed for the engine and is remappable for cam changes and emissions etc?

You can buy a complete run kit for sub £1000 I think snd it should do all you want , the problem with cold start it takes time to get right snd people font want to wate / leave the car or pay for the set up to be done right but it csn be done . With your regulations hhe Gm kit would be ok try Brian at Roadcraft he should be able to dort one for you

Made the decision today. It is going to be the KMS ecu. Loom is already in order. Wideband lambda setup. Steppermotor setup. I wil keep you all posted....
We wil have to find a simple and good drivebelt setup. When this work is completed a better solution wil have to be found for the gearbox/belhousing.

I built a v10 e46 for Driftworks and that used a Kms ecu and wiring loom , it is very nice stuff but very expensive !!!! They have been very good at support so I'm sure you will get it sorted !!

I went down the root of the DTA S80pro ecu with a new loom installed by this place http://www.jdm-dyno.com/ in my SEAC
He did the full install and mapping and he gets a lot of cars up from the south and some crazy powered cars in Cumbria.

Good luck with you instalation

I am thinking about ordering an a/c and alternator bracket from Kwik Performance (www.kwikperf.com). I think the Cerb's airconpump wil fit on the bracket. I wil have to order another alternator. Compared to now the alternator and a/c pump wil have to change places. Is anyone familiar with these components?

I've used the kwik performance bracket for the ac compressor, it's a good piece kit and fitted easily. The only thing I had to do was to use washers to the correct alignment for the belt. I will take a few pics to show you.

Parts are ordered with a GM alternator 102A included. The Cerbera A/C pump (Sanden) wil hopefully fit. Ordered the parts at pace performance.
