How wide is the engine compared to the T-chassis? Will you have to modify the chassis?

Can't answer but I've been looking at AJ engines for a project for a while. One thing you notice is that all the head gubbins takes up quite a bit of space, but this might all be above the rails so not an issue.

I thought the V was a wider angle than the LS but not sure. If it is is, I doubt it is by much as it is still a very compact engine.

Pretty sure it will be wider than the LS engine as it is a 4 cam engine

Hmmm has anyone turbocharged one of these engines? Guessing as its a jag motor and boosted from the factory it should be a strong motor anyway.

I'm keen for updates on this too. Would make a very interesting alternative to the LSx. Especially as the engines can be had for cheap.

It is still in progress, but John's been focusing on other things to my knowledge.

Spoke with him today about something else, but saw the Cerb he was working on a while back at Dave's and that was very much still alive and running.

Beautiful Cerb!

I'm speaking with John in the next week or so, so I'll ask him about the Sag then.
My brain was at lunch this morning - thinking about too many other things - to have
a good chat.

Latest on this was - the design and layout has been done. The work will start for proper over winter.

Hoping to get a Sprint article out of it from John, so stay tuned biggrin

Last update I had was 2 weeks ago in Spain...
- A Sagaris from scratch build is pending for April for customer
- v8 is pending waiting free time to work on it. Hoping to get it done by spring
- various interesting projects between me and John waiting for starting spring next year

Unfortunately, as with all of us, John's business' are rather busy and have to
service the customers and their own SCL cars before other projects
