Final round of Sag engine decision. As part of my due diligence re looking at the engine options for my destroyed SAG engine what is the view of TopCats?

I have had nothing but extremely positive views and recommendations from those who have had work done by Warren and the team. I also asked Jason at Str8six and others for their recommendations and TopCats came out as No1 for in the LS world. Can’t get better than that.

Re the work - I am no mechanic however the work they have done looks excellent and their t350 LS7 is awesome. I also like the fact they have a numbered register for the conversions……all good stuff.

So for those who have used TopCats ….how have they performed during and after any work you have had done? Looking to finalise this and need to know of any “gotchas”. Please PM me if you would rather not post.

I have nothing but high praise for Topcats always worked on my Tvrs in the past, all I will say,if you are going to spend around £30'000 on a power unit, you are in safe hands...

I have been using Topcats to service and look after my Marcos for years and have never had a problem, in fact I would not trust anyone else! They sorted out many problems from the previous owners and set up the car so it drives so much better. I was looking at a LS3 conversion for mine and looked at the TVRs they were converting that were very nicely done. Totally professional. They are in the midst of having a new building built at the same location but give Warren a call and Gary with the Marcos told you to call him.

Just found a phone photo of their TVR they were working on, hence the dust as they were working on customer cars, and it had been sitting around whilst they worked on other peoples. I trust them enough to let them place a advert in the next Marcos magazine but I don't think you will get a discount! Maybe TVR owners should contact them too for a magazine advert!

Best update this post. My car is at TopCats having the work done so thanks to all who contacted me.

Once the Sag is back with me and the other bits I want doing are done I will post some pics.

After being at thier recent open day and having them install my new front brake set up I have just dropped my Cerb Speed six to them today for its 6k service along with some extra touches. Great price but the service and customer car is second to none. 1st time anyone other than Power have had my car but the knowledge they have is great and im a happy man.

Brian quickly whipped out my interior panels that ill be taking to my contact for some awesome carbon dipping (with a twist so watch this space). They are with me so I can strip the adhesive and prep for the process.



Cant wait to have the car running great with all the updates.
