I was having a good nosey at a Tuscan with LS conversion at Topcat's TVR meet back in July, it always amazes me how small it looks in the engine bay.

As a long time Chimeara owner and staunch V8 fan I always thought this was the way to go with the newer TVRs- right up until we brought a Tuscan back in June last year and it's completely changed my opinion of the Speed-6 engine, I bloody love it! I will have to have a go in an LS powered car one day though to see how they compare.

Having spent a great deal of time at Topcats over the last few years (they rebuilt the engine in my Chim amongst other things) I do always love having a look at some of the ridiculous projects they take on!

Love the sound of a straight 6. Nothing quite like it.

Still, if you’re going to do an engine swap, go big, or go home. And as LS swaps are so ubiquitous, and the Sagaris is otherwise so unique, it seems important to match the powertrain to how special the car is.
