My new S60 T5. Fully loaded with only 39,000 miles on the clock. Best car I have ever owned.

Ooooh very nice smile

£300 on a remap will see it clear 300-320 BHP wink
Thankyou. Who do you trust for a remap that isn't too aggresive. Not Shark please as I am wanting other companys too?

Depends where you are in the country mate. There's a lot of Rica agents about but I often hear stories of "flat spots" with the Rica maps on the 2.4 T5, BSR are ok but a little pricey - although you load the map yourself with a softloader which doubles as a code reader. I have an HLM/Autotech map on mine and I know of a few others who also have it and we're all pretty happy with it. These days, there's guys developing their own maps with excellent results, pop over to T5D5.org for those.

Just got back from Shark Performance and wow. What a difference. Very smooth and pulls like a train. Very impressed.

Hang on.... "not Shark please" and then "just got back from Shark...."

What's that all about then?

I've heard of good things from the Volvo lads I know.

I'm glad you're pleased!

I was after other suggestions apart from them but they came up best in all forums.

Shark seem to have a positive reputation and I'll give in eventually, though I'm not finding my lowly 2.4D to feel underpowered at all but then that could be partly that 9,000 miles in 6 months has loosened it up after it was barely ran in when I bought it.

It does seem rude to not remap it when the D5 is identical but more powerful.

I didn't realise there was Volvo picture thread.

May I present to you my new purchase, a really minty late 1990 760 GLE:

It's one of the last Volvos to be fitted with the Douvrin V6:

Washed the big girl on Saturday ahead of taking her to Kent for a family wedding.

300mile round trip, such a comfy car to do miles in.
Did surprisingly well on fuel too....26.9mpg door to door.
