I'm a long time Volvo fan and owner (S40, 940, 960 Auto Turbo, 850, 240GLT) and bought this from a PH'er last April
I absolutely love it.
Pretty much standard at the moment although I've deleted the rear silencer (contemplating losing the center one too as it sounds lovely and not at all obnoxious)
Hoping to carry out some work in the next couple of years
Not ex plod either
Thanks by the way
It's taken over 6 years and many thousands if beer tokens lol.
Currently on 223k miles and running 310.2bhp and 333ft/lb torque.
The engine, gearbox and most of the body is original however, brakes, suspension, turbo, engine ancillaries, interior etc have all been rebuilt, replaced or upgraded in one way or another.

Old and new back to front.
Gave the new 60 a good clean and wax last weekend. 600 miles in the first week on one tank of tracker fuel is amazing! wouldn't of got any where near though in the petrol one.
Annoyingly though I seem to can already caught the front left rim on something these diamond cut rims looks amazing but they are like cheese. I've been so careful not to park against curbs so can only think I've caught it on a pot hold or something.
The old black 60 is in care of a mate now, although he does have a thing for killing cars!
Once I've caught the rims a couple more times (which will no doubt happen) I will probably get them paint again.
Other than that I think it will stay as it is for the time being.

Thankyou
A friend had a 12 plate c70 in black with 19" ixions and it was achingly beautiful
Bet it was a right lead footed thing with 19" wheels on though, mine was bad enough with the standard SE Lux 18" and is a much better drive on the (far uglier) 17" wheels I put on it. Still very tempted to put the 18" wheels back on though.A friend had a 12 plate c70 in black with 19" ixions and it was achingly beautiful

It definitely wasn't t5 fast. They're 1700kg any way, plus the gutless 225 bhp lump that ford ruined, made for an uneventful drive tbh.martinrpeachey said:
