Seen a 2003 VOLVO XC 90 D5 SE AWD SEMI-AUTO for sale at reasonable money and wondered what the thoughts are on these?
I read the gearbox is an issue on some cars, the D6?
It is in very good condition with privacy glass and 7 seats.
All routine maintenance including: cambelt at 132K, new brakes pads and discs, new parking brake upgrade kit fitted all carried out in the last few months.
Full services history with stamp in book.
Selling with no known faults and ready to go.
So, yes or no?

There's no D6...
There's a T6 (petrol turbo) and a V8 (petrol) and the occasional lower powered petrol engine.
Thing about the pre-2004/5 Volvo P2 cars is, they suffer with a lot of electrical gremlins and on the XC90, they seem to be a bit more expensive than usual.
Personally, I'd avoid anything before 2005. (I own a 2003 V70 so I'd know
)
