V50 2008 AIRBAG LIGHT ON

Hi

Have got a 2.0D se V50 and had the clutch and dmf done a few months ago and ever since the airbag service light has been on, the guy who did it has said to me that it because the battery was disconnected and that he that he needs the software off volvo to turn it off, i think he might be fobbing me off cause he doesn't know how to solve it. Has anyone else come across this before, have looked through here but can't find anything on it. Any help is appreciated.

Read the codes to check which bag is causing a problem - if he has been pissing about unplugging wires with the battery connected or ignition on then it will throw up a fault code.
