52 V70 drives window probs

Well, Finally got aroud to doing something about it. Why cant other cars have Volvos retainers on the door card. Anyway , the rear arm was slghtly bent ( i think, well it had a kink in it) and clipped to runners back in
Have two minor probs which i can live with but would be nice to cure
The window doesnt go all the way down now, about 3/4 in showing on fully open
When doing to 'auto close' it goes up halfay, stops and then goesdown.
Keeping the switch depressed i does close all the way up
On the V70 forum it says you can reset it by ging up and down twice and turning ign off/on on/off( or something like that) however it didnt work!!
BUT i no longer havto jump out the car at parking barriers
