V60 D5 Warranty - Worth it or not ??

Hi there,

Advice wanted please.

Have a V60 D5 Geartronic with all the bells and whistles, great car,35,000 miles,

but its coming up to be 3 years old, so bye bye manufacturers warranty.

Is it worth while investing £400 to extend Volvo warranty for one year or take the risk

that the turbos are going to blow, gearbox fail, electric handbrake kaput ?

Or am I being a chicken in doubting the build quality of the Swedes especially as am going

to keep car for another 2 to 3 years at approx. 10,000 a year ??

What does the warranty exclude?

Mileage is very low and I guess that you now the car from new so I would say not worth it. But you never know.
