I've been looking at a 2010 Volvo V50 1.6 Drive, 64k miles for £9k.

Any thoughts?

We have a few of these in work. They can hit good economy figures if you're gentle and they are gutsier than you'd think, although they do struggle when you fill the car up with crap.

That engine does not have a great reputation for reliability in the Ford/PSA cars you find it in though. Ours enjoy about 100K or pool car usage and I don't think we've had any big problems.
