2007 V70 D5 - things to check

Hi guys,
I'm (hopefully) going to be chopping my current vehicle in for a 2007 pre-facelift V70 D5 SE with manual box this weekend.
I've read various threads to get information about things to look out for, but only really find obvious things like timing belt, knocky suspension and (Volvo specifically) electrical faults because of ECU location.
Are there any other things I need to check that are V70 and D5 specific? Any help would be much appreciated and I want to go there fully armed with as much info as possible.
What is the timing belt schedule change on these? How do I physically. Check the ECU for water ingress?
