Mums finally giving up driving. Her weapon of choice for the last 23 years and bought new has been a 1.7 auto 460Si. It's done just 46000 miles, been main dealer serviced every year and got good - almost new - tyres. MOT to November and it's had the timing belt done recently. Body and paint is good apart from a couple of minor dinks, interior is as new and everything works.

Any love for the 460 in Volvoworld and any idea what to ask for it or where to sell it?

Cheers Chaps thumbup

That's a nice car :-)

If you are in no rush, I'd advertise it at £995.00 and see what happens. Perhaps with a view to taking £800.00.

It clearly isn't an old banger £150 affair, but to the right person its worth a few bob.

What I'm saying is, that to Joe blogs that just wants cheap wheels its worth £400-£500. For someone who appreciates what it is and its history / condition - I think up to a grand may be possible if you advertise it in say car and classic etc.

Just found this - might be a guide for you.

They are not hugely loved cars so as said above if you find someone who has a soft spot for them great, but you might struggle.

Good luck, hope you find someone who will love it like your mum did smile

Put it on e-bay with a reserve at 900, might get more through an online auction.
