940s and 2.3 LPTs

Seems my otherwise brilliant 850 isn't long for this world. Being a convert to all things big 'n' Swedish, I'm now looking at 940s with the 2.3 LPT engine. Has anyone any comments on how they drive and what they're like to live with compared to an 850 2.5?

They lack the sharpness of an 850 - some prefer it - being rwd there is far less drivetrain snatch - they wallow about a fair bit. The 2.3 lpt is merely adequate in performance. All the red block motors are reliable and tough though - I'm not a fan of the 900 series, never have been - I always preferred the 700series but if I were to buy one i'd go for the much rarer high pressure turbo
