If you use Facebook, please join the 'Polestar Owners UK' group. The owner of the page is trying to get as many owners 'known' as possible.

but the clunky gearbox might start annoying me
first I've heard of the clunky gearbox . . . have you driven one ?Still contemplating one of these later in the year (still torn between this and a 335/340i or even a Golf R Estate) and was surprised to finally see one on the A9 by Aviemore last week. Anyone on here?
My old man was complaining about the noise at the traffic lights outside his office in Edinburgh recently too. Don't think he is a fan of the exhaust note.

Just came here to see about experiences with a V60 D3 Geartronic, but as a mate works at the dealer I got the chance to take out the 4-banger Polestar aswell. What a car! Any of you lucky enough to own one, I'm jealous. It's enough of a Q-car to not attract attention, until you give it some. I only had half an hour worth of fun, but I really enjoyed it. Sadly it's a tad overpriced for my company car budget

Another one who's popped on the Volvo side, looking to get something more discrete than the Audi and a bit of me really likes the polestar.Too many Audis south of Birmingham getting taken and love the fact it looks "like a Volvo" and therefore likely to just get ignored.
Anyone able to tell me what the Tech interface is like on the T6? Not sure the best place to start the research, cheers.

Yep, although my reason to for a Volvo were a bit more modest than that. I'm on the hunt for a new company car. On my punch list are; 150ps, automatic, diesel, xenon or LED and 18" wheels. I had some candidates, but never considered a Volvo thinking they would be to expensive like Audi, BMW, etc. Dutch company car tax is a bh basically, you have to add 22% of the value of the car to your OTE salary. And then there's the added taxes for diesels in general... so a basic Audi A3 or BMW 118d specced to my likings could go over €50k... A V60 Polar+ Dynamic D3 Geartronic on 18" with some options is €47k. A V40 D4 is an even better deal at €42k all-in.
The media stuff on my V60 (2012 car) is great. I have no phone problems and the nav is easily to update via the internet.
My nav graphics are a bit clunky (addressed on the latest Sensus system) but it works fine.
The DAB radio works a treat around Wiltshire too.
I only use an mp3 player via a 3.5mm jack but there is also a usb connector in the box beneath the armrest.
Try one, you might like it...

A quick query on tyres for any owners reading. The car we are buying has P Zeros all round. They have quite a lot of tread so we'll have to live with them for at least the summer. Have any of you switched tyres and got any thoughts on these or any other options?
